When writing first came to mind, I truly didn’t think I was capable. I’ve never been the best writer. I certainly did not receive any writing awards in my years of schooling, but I’m doing it. I’m being obedient in following God’s lead. So here I am….
I’m a momma to one awesome, rambunctious little boy. After years of struggling with infertility, God tugged at our hearts to move forward with adoption (you can catch that story –> here). While the journey had some bumps and bruises along the way, we have been abundantly blessed with an amazing birth mother that will always be my platform for how awesome open adoption can be!
I’m married to a wonderful, Godly man. He has been patient with me and has been my rock repeatedly over and over again. Our struggles has only made us stronger in our faith and in our relationship with one another.
I am a Community Health Educator at Penn State University. My passion is counseling with a Masters degree in Human Services Counseling. I have had experience working in the behavioral/mental health field, as well as addiction. I have a true love for helping others, which is exactly my hope at My Song. His Story, all while glorifying God’s goodness.
Thank you for joining me on this journey!
