Happy Monday, y’all. What a Monday it has been! Can you believe we are just one week from Christmas?! It’s been so fun for me to think about verses for #memorizemonday and the connection between this holiday season, but it’s been even more exciting to see God give me verses that compliment each other. •
I was thinking about a verse that has resonated with me recently to mediate and focus on this week for #memorizemonday. My husband and I have been doing a daily reading from @shereadstruth Advent book. One of the verses today: John 8:12. After mediating last week on 2 Samuel 22:29 and the words “my God lightens my darkness” I was completely drawn to John 8:12: Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness again but will have the light of life.” •
You know, that really is the beauty in studying God’s words. The connections. The reminder of how true the words are for us. 2 Samuel: you are my lamp Lord to John 8:12; Jesus is the light of world, all who follow will not walk in darkness. •
God truly provides what we need to navigate any situation we face. Any darkness that feels like to much to see past, He always will find us a way. •
Happy memorizing, friends.
